Custom Training

Our training programs are custom designed for one or more technical or non-technical personnel, either in the United States or at your location worldwide.  WCT can develop training programs on virtually any industry-related subject.  Schedules range in duration from one day to one year.

TRAINING COORDINATION

WCT can customize an intensive technical and non-technical training program in and around various locations in North America on a variety of disciplines related to the oil and gas Industry.

WCT makes all arrangements for participants to attend various specialized, training organization and university short courses and seminars in the United States, U.K., France and/or Canada.  The program may also incorporate on-the-job training and visits to selected companies.  This practical training returns great benefits to your company by enhancing competencies, which in turn translate into more profits.  WCT arranges for all course/activity enrollments, lodging, local transportation or rental car, North American air travel in and shipment of course materials.  Each participant only needs to obtain a B-1 Business Visa (if the U.S. visa waiver program is not applicable) at a U.S. Embassy and a return air ticket to Houston, Texas USA.

SHORT COURSES

WCT has a cadre of instructors who have extensive industry experience both in the classroom and in the workplace on a wide range of topics related to the oil and gas industry.  WCT can cover over 60 topics in Petroleum and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Training and has the expertise to customize a program on any other topic that may be needed. 

TECHNICAL TOURS/ON-THE-JOB TRAINING

WCT can arrange for company visits and presentations from a diverse group of oil and gas companies, suppliers and service providers to enhance the participant’s training experience.  These meetings enable the participants to see up close processes, manufacturing and technology related to a particular area of interest in petroleum associated businesses.  The visits also offer the participant valuable contacts for future business dealings.

In addition to visits to these oil- and gas-related companies, WCT can arrange on-the-job training with local drilling contractors involved in varied onshore drilling operations in and around the Gulf Coast area.  This hands-on approach adds a great deal to any program by showing what’s gleaned in the classroom, office or manufacturing facility.

SEMINARS

WCT can develop and present a seminar on nearly any topic related to the oil and gas Industry.  These programs can be held either in the United States or at your facility anywhere in the world.
